Choose a transition the model can understand
Listen for the end of a phrase, a drum fill, held chord or breath before a new section. Starting inside a vocal word or dense transient makes a seamless join harder, even when the new musical material is strong.
- Cut point: use a phrase boundary, clean downbeat or natural decay
- Direction: continue, build, strip back, contrast or resolve
- Continuity: name the instrument, groove or vocal trait that must remain
- Review: audition several seconds before and after the join on headphones

How is AI music extension different from looping?
Looping repeats the same recorded passage. AI extension generates a new continuation informed by the source and your direction, so the arrangement can develop, introduce another section or move toward an ending instead of cycling identically.
Can I choose where the song continues?
Yes. The upload-extension workflow includes a continuation point. Choose a phrase boundary or clean beat when possible, because the musical context around that point affects how natural the join can sound.
Which files can I upload?
The SeedMusic uploader accepts audio file types and enforces a 50 MB maximum. Actual processing compatibility can still depend on the upstream workflow, encoding and whether the uploaded URL is reachable.
Will the extension preserve the original tempo and mood?
The source provides musical context, but no generated continuation is guaranteed to match perfectly. Describe what must remain—such as groove, instrumentation or energy—and compare more than one version around the transition.
What happens to vocals and lyrics?
You can choose vocal or instrumental direction and add prompt or lyric guidance in Custom mode. Review pronunciation, narrative continuity and the exact join, because a musically smooth passage can still need lyric editing.
Can I extend music I did not create?
Only when you have the rights or permission required to upload and adapt it. Owning a copy or having streaming access does not by itself establish permission to create a modified version.
